DETROIT – The Detroit Pistons are coming off one of their hardest-fought victories of the season, defeating the Charlotte Hornets 110-104, ending their nine-game winning streak.
During the game, Pistons big man Jalen Duren sparked a brawl with former Michigan Wolverines forward Moussa Diabate in the third quarter.

The melee resulted in four players being ejected, including Hornets head coach Charles Lee, who was tossed for protesting a call.
The four players ejected are Duren, Diabate, Miles Bridges (formerly of Michigan State Spartans), and Isaiah Stewart.
All will be suspended for their involvement in the brawl inside the Spectrum Center on Monday, Feb. 9, 2026.
The Pistons are scheduled to travel to Toronto to face the Raptors on Wednesday before heading into the All-Star break, which begins Friday, Feb. 13, in Los Angeles.
Cade Cunningham and head coach J.B. Bickerstaff will attend the All-Star festivities in California, but it remains uncertain if Duren will join them.
Duren was selected as a reserve for the All-Star game, marking the first selection of his young career.
However, the fight could jeopardize his participation in the 75th All-Star Game.
Under NBA rules, suspended players are prohibited from appearing anywhere in the arena or the stands where their team is playing.
They also cannot participate in any league-related events during the suspension period.
A suspension is a complete ban from official NBA arenas for the specified period, including the All-Star break.
No official ruling has been made by NBA Commissioner Adam Silver yet, but the Pistons are expected to receive a decision before their game against the Raptors.
