Detroit Lions OT Taylor Decker announces NFL future via Instagram post ahead of year 11

The 10-year veteran battled a shoulder injury last season, and said he needed time to contemplate return

DETROIT – Detroit Lions offensive tackle Taylor Deckerhas made a decision about his NFL future amid speculation that he will retire following the 2025 season.

Decker announced on Tuesday (Feb. 24) via his Instagram, “Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Here am I; SEND ME! #Year11.”

The quote is a Bible verse from Isaiah 6:8, which represents the immediate, willing response to God’s calling to send a messenger to deliver warnings and hope to the people through the prophet Isaiah.
