Pacheco will be a clear No. 2 for Detroit behind Jahmyr Gibbs after the Lions traded Montgomery to Houston last week.

In other news, longtime wide receiver and return man Kalif Raymond is heading to Chicago to join the Ben Johnson Bears.

Raymond joins former Lions including Alex Anzalone, Amik Robertson, Roy Lopez and Kyle Allen, who have all signed elsewhere during NFL free agency.
