A former Michigan basketball player is transferring to Ohio State after a strong sophomore season.
Justin Pippen spent the 2024-25 season with Dusty May and the Wolverines, appearing in 28 games off the bench and averaging 1.6 points in 6.6 minutes per game.

He transferred to Cal and had a strong sophomore season, scoring 14.2 points per game along with 4.6 assists, 3.9 rebounds, and 1.9 steals. He started all 32 games and shot 37% from the floor, including 32.7% from three.
Cal went 21-11 in the regular season and made it to the second round of the NIT.
Now, the 6-foot-3 guard is heading to Columbus to join the Buckeyes. Ohio State is coming off its first NCAA Tournament appearance since 2022.
Pippen will help the Buckeyes replace some of the production they’re losing with Bruce Thornton’s graduation. Thornton is the program’s all-time leading scorer.
