DETROIT – Duncan Robinson has been ruled out of the Detroit Pistons’ pivotal Game 5 matchup against the Cleveland Cavaliers in the Eastern Conference second round due to an injury.
Robinson, the former Michigan Wolverines standout, was officially ruled out on Wednesday (May 13) after being listed with a back injury on ESPN.

In his absence, the Pistons will start guard Daniss Jenkins, the team confirmed through its public relations department.
Robinson has been a key contributor for Detroit this postseason, averaging 13.8 points, 1.8 rebounds, and 2.5 assists while also adding 2.5 steals per game. He has shot 57.7% from 3-point range in 32.5 minutes per contest, providing significant perimeter spacing and defensive activity.
The Pistons enter Game 5 looking to bounce back after back-to-back losses in the series as they try to regain momentum on their home floor.
