Witnesses saw a man masturbating at Twelve Oaks Mall, police say. He’s now facing felony charges

NOVI, Mich. – A Clarkston man is facing felony charges after he was allegedly found masturbating in the Twelve Oaks Mall in Novi.

Dylan Scotten, 25, is facing felony charges of indecent exposure by a sexually delinquent person and aggravated indecent exposure.

According to Novi police, witnesses reported seeing Scotten allegedly masturbating in the common area of the mall at around 8 p.m. on Aug. 8. When he was confronted by mall security, he allegedly ran away.

Officers arrived and arrested him in the parking lot.

He was arraigned in court on Aug. 9 and was given a $250,000 bond.

He is scheduled to return to court on Aug. 19 for a probable cause conference.
