DETROIT – Detroit Pistons enforcer, Isaiah Stewart, has partnered with My Big Fat Shawarma, the fast-growing Mediterranean restaurant brand, with one of the franchise’s most recognizable players.
With a nickname like “Beef Stew,” the partnership is fitting, as Stewart has become known for his physical style of play, defensive intensity, and versatility on the court.

Company officials said the partnership reflects the same bold identity My Big Fat Shawarma has built through its oversized portions and authentic Mediterranean flavors.
The collaboration will spotlight the restaurant’s signature Big Fat Bowl, Stewart’s featured order, which includes chicken and steak paired with toppings and house-made sauces.
The bowl will be promoted through joint social media campaigns across Stewart’s and the restaurant’s digital platforms.
The partnership will also include fan engagement promotions, including giveaways featuring a signed Stewart jersey and autographed sneakers.
Stewart is also scheduled to appear at the grand opening of My Big Fat Shawarma’s fourth Metro Detroit location in Beverly Hills, Michigan, later this summer.
Additional details surrounding the opening event are expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
As part of the partnership, My Big Fat Shawarma launched a Pistons-themed promotion tied to the team’s postseason success.
Before the Pistons were eliminated by the Cleveland Cavaliers in Game 7 at Little Caesars Arena, My Big Fat Shawarma offered free shawarmas if Detroit won the NBA championship.
My Big Fat Shawarma currently operates locations in Warren, West Bloomfield, and Midtown Detroit.
