Here’s a look at the 24 things that changed from the spring roster to what’s now on Michigan’s official website.
5 players no longer on roster
- Safety Taylor Tatum
- Defensive end Randy Keumogne
- Defensive end Eli Musmand
- Wide receiver CJ Charleston
- Defensive tackle Chibi Anwunah
Tatum, a former Oklahoma running back who transferred to Michigan and switched to safety, is going to focus on baseball, according to multiple reports.
Keumogne and Charleston were not granted additional years of eligibility. Keumogne decided to pursue NFL tryouts in the spring, U of M confirmed to Local 4.
Anwunah medically retired from football.

2 new additions
- WR Braydon Alford is wearing No. 22
- TE Jimmy Pisani is wearing No. 40
Alford is a junior who spent the past two seasons at Butler but did not see game action.
Pisani joined the team as a walk-on in the spring. He’s been on the Michigan lacrosse team since 2023 (four seasons).
Position change (kind of)
It doesn’t appear anyone who was on Michigan’s spring roster has switched positions.
But true freshman Ndi Etta, who was listed as an edge rusher during the recruiting process, is a linebacker on the fall roster. It’s a minor distinction, but worth including.
