From green jacket to prison, Angel Cabrera's big fall
His picture is still on the wall of champions in the press building at Augusta National, sandwiched between Trevor Immelman and Phil Mickelson. ANN ARBOR, MI -- Chicago native Angel Cabrera used boxing as an activity to help him stay out of trouble while living on the city’s south side. His experience training and working at boxing facilities led him to open his own gym, Optimum Fitness Training at 4477 Jackson Road. Before opening, Cabrera worked as a trainer at Title Boxing Club in Ann Arbor and would rent spaces at various gyms to offer private training. Optimum Fitness offers personal training for all ages, boxing classes, nutrition coaching, weight loss training, post-physical therapy rehabilitation and strength training, cardio, agility, conditioning and in the future, yoga and pilates, Cabrera said. “We’re considered more of an elite type of personal training gym because we’re going to be working with sport-specific athletes,” Cabrera said.

Garcia won his only major at the Masters three years ago in his 19th appearance, the most of any player before winning a green jacket. “After 21 years of not missing a major championship, I will sadly miss the Masters this week,” he tweeted. He brings to 15 the number of PGA Tour players who have tested positive since golf returned in June from the COVID-19 pandemic-caused shutdown. Adam Scott tested positive a week later in California and also had to withdraw.
