The abandoned husk of what was once Lodge Elementary School has loomed over the corner of Bennett Street and Lenore Avenue on Detroit’s west side for 15 years.

Detroit police tell Local 4 that they are investigating a deadly shooting that happened in the area of Grand River and Telegraph early Monday morning.
