Campbell says he never saw anything untoward during his time with Ross and the Dolphins. The move proved to be a good one for Campbell, who served as Payton’s right-hand man and assistant head coach for five years before landing the Detroit Lions’ head job last year. He fired Flores last month after a second straight winning season, but now has been accused by his former coach of the pay-to-lose scheme.
