Carr helps Raiders snap Chiefs' 13-game win streak, 40-32
And when Carr threw an early interception Sunday that helped the Chiefs take a commanding lead, well, it seemed as if history was repeating itself. “I've had a lot of sad walks up that ramp,” Carr said later, “but you know what? Not today.”Instead, the oft-criticized quarterback steadied his shaky team, outplayed Super Bowl MVP Patrick Mahomes and led the Raiders to a 40-32 victory. But the Raiders (3-2) recovered a squib quick, Jacobs rumbled for a first down as the Chiefs (4-1) burned timeouts, and Carr sneaked for the crucial first down. But that's how these things go.”The Chiefs tied it at halftime, and the game slowed down during a scoreless third quarter.

Gruden: Raiders players made 'mistake' not wearing masks
Las Vegas Raiders coach Jon Gruden said several of his players made a mistake when they didn’t wear masks or practice social distancing during a charity event that violated league and local COVID-19 rules. Players were seen on video without masks during the indoor event while talking and mingling with guests, who also weren’t wearing masks. “We’ve done a good job, done an excellent job,” Gruden said Wednesday. The Raiders opened the 21-day practice window for QB Marcus Mariota, who was placed on IR with a pectoral injury. QB DeShone Kizer was released from the practice squad and WR De’Mornay Pierson-El was signed to the practice squad.
South Carolina football vs. Vanderbilt: Time, TV schedule, game preview, score
COLUMBIA, S.C. When looking to bounce back from a bad loss, there arent many teams South Carolina would rather line up against than Vanderbilt. LINE: South Carolina -15.5South Carolina is coming off an embarrassing 41-21 loss at Tennessee, especially considering it came just two weeks after the Gamecocks stunned Georgia between the hedges. The offense could be potent if Hasan can boost the passing game to complement star running back KeShawn Vaughn (100.4 yards per game, 6 TDs). The defense has been solid against the run, for the most part, but was gashed for 351 passing yards by a previously punchless Tennessee offense last week. PREDICTION: South Carolina 24, Vanderbilt 20
