The day after Miguel Cabrera reached 3,000 career hits, the Tigers limped to a second consecutive defeat, falling to the Colorado Rockies 6-2 on Sunday afternoon at Comerica Park. The Rockies (10-5) took two of three from the Tigers (6-9), who ended their second homestand of the season with a 2-4 record.
