A California judge has rejected a new murder trial for Scott Peterson in the death of his wife and their unborn child.

DETROIT Police said a missing teen was found dead behind a vacant home on Detroits east side. Police said that teen is Darius Jones Jr., a 19-year-old last seen leaving his home on Sunday. His family found him near the vacant home on Elmdale, near Conner and Harper. Police do suspect foul play. Click here for more missing person reports

DETROIT A 20-year-old man was shot in front of a stop sign Monday morning in the area of Longview and Conner, Detroit police say. The victim was shot after someone drove by the area in a white Chevy Impala firing shots. Police say the victim was seated in the rear drivers side seat of a vehicle when he was shot. He is in stable condition. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 1-800-SPEAK-UP.
