That includes the team’s Week 2 trip to face the Detroit Lions at Ford Field. Commanders coach Ron Rivera previously said he expected Young to miss additional time while he recovers. The Commanders spent recent first-round picks on edge defender Montez Sweat, and interior forces Jonathan Allen and Daron Payne. The Commanders also placed center Tyler Larsen on the physically unable to perform list.
