Detroit forced a couple of early turnovers that Hamidou Diallo was able to capitalize on. Back from a four-game absence, Diallo exploded for a 10-point first quarter, making five of his seven shot attempts in the field. Pistons sign Jerami Grant for three years, $60 million

The Detroit Pistons continued their signing spree during the first day of free agency Friday, agreeing to a three-year, $60 million contract with 6-8 forward Jerami Grant, according to Shams Charania of The Athletic. They will be on Detroit’s cap for the next five seasons -- $2.7 million each year for Dedmon and $1 million each year for McGruder. Grant played his college ball at Syracuse and was selected in the second round of the 2014 draft by Philadelphia (39th overall).
