After closer Kenley Jansen suffered his third blown save, Tigers manager A.J. Hinch turned to Kyle Finnegan for the ninth-inning save against the Braves, resulting in a 5-2 comeback win. Jansen, who signed an $11 million deal to be Detroit’s closer, has struggled with a 6.14 ERA, while Finnegan boasts a 0.57 ERA and a strong track record. Hinch cited bullpen fatigue and recent struggles as reasons for the change. The win helped Detroit avoid a sweep and regain a share of the AL Central lead.
