Nine Native American tribes in South Dakota, North Dakota and Nebraska are suing the federal government, bidding to stop exploratory drilling for graphite near a sacred ceremonial site in the Black Hills.

The president of the Oglala Sioux Tribe in South Dakota said three of the four tribal members detained by ICE agents in Minneapolis last week have been transferred to an ICE facility and called for their immediate release.
