An attorney is under investigation after smuggling contraband items, including Suboxone, to their client at Central Michigan Correctional Facility on Monday.

Cheryl Colburn, 65, of Ithaca, was charged in the 64B District Court in Stanton on one count of embezzlement from a vulnerable adult, $1,000 - $20,000, a five-year felony.

LANSING, Mich. The Michigan National Guard will continue its partnership with the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services, Michigan State Police, and local health departments to offer COVID-19 testing this weekend in Branch, Chippewa, Gratiot, Marquette, Muskegon, Newago, Schoolcraft, and Wayne counties.
