A nuisance property on Detroit’s west side could soon be added to the city’s demolition list.

Police are investigating after a man was fatally shot on Detroit’s west side Monday morning.

DETROIT A fire has destroyed one home and damaged two others on Detroits west side. The fire happened Friday night on Holmes Street near Warren and Livernois avenues. The fire started in the middle home, which is abandoned, according to officials. The fire then spread to the two homes next door. Officials said nobody was hurt.
