SAGINAW, MI — A Chicago-area man who drove to a parochial school in rural Saginaw County then rammed a police vehicle when officers responded has accepted a plea deal. In exchange for his pleas, the prosecution agreed to dismiss misdemeanor charges of reckless driving and driving with a forged or altered license. The man, Tsimberov, left and staff gave police a description of him. Not long after, police found Tsimberov at the McDonald’s at 120 W. SAGINAW, MI — A Chicago-area man who allegedly rammed a police car after inexplicably showing up at an elementary school in rural Saginaw County is facing five criminal charges. The morning of Monday, March 28, 23-year-old Petra S. Tsimberov appeared before Saginaw County District Judge Terry L. Clark via closed-circuit TV from the Saginaw County Jail. Clark arraigned Tsimberov on the following five charges:Two counts of assaulting, resisting, or obstructing police, a two-year felony. The man, Tsimberov, left and staff gave police a description of him. Not long after, police found Tsimberov at the McDonald’s at 120 W. Saginaw St.“We questioned him and tried to determine why he was at the school,” Doyle said.

Illinois man rams police vehicle after showing up at Hemlock-area school for unknown reasons

RICHLAND TWP, MI — On a professed cross-country trip from Chicago to Los Angeles, an Illinois found himself at a school in Hemlock. When police asked the traveler what brought him to the school, he opted to ram his vehicle into the patrol vehicle and lead officers on a brief chase. Not long after, police found the man at the McDonald’s at 120 W. Saginaw St.“We questioned him and tried to determine why he was at the school,” Doyle said. “We were having a difficult time determining his true identification.”While the man was in his vehicle trying to find his driver’s license, he put his vehicle in reverse and rammed the sone of a police vehicle, Doyle said. About a mile away at the intersection with Brennan Road, the man slid off the road and struck a street sign, Doyle said.

NFL suspends Vontaze Burfict for rest of season

(CNN) - Oakland Raiders linebacker Vontaze Burfict has been suspended without pay by the NFL for the rest of the season -- including any postseason games -- for repeated violations of unnecessary roughness rules. When he left the field, Burfict blew kisses to the Indianapolis crowd at Lucas Oil Stadium. It is the longest punishment for an on-field act in NFL history, according to NFL.com. Burfict, who spent his first seven NFL seasons with the Cincinnati Bengals, signed with the Raiders in March. Burfict also was suspended in 2018, for four games, for use of a banned substance.
