Saddiq Bey clutch-3 seals Pistons OT win over Spurs
With another big game from Saddiq Bey and Hamidou Diallo, the Pistons downed the San Antonio Spurs 117-116 in overtime. Bey ended the night with 20 points and a career-high 17 rebounds, his fourth-straight game scoring 20 or more points. With 44 seconds remaining in Saturday night’s game, Luka Garza scored a putback layup to put the Pistons up 105-104. While going up for a rebound though, the Pistons fouled Spurs big man Jakob Poeltl, who missed his two shots. Rookie center Garza also put up a strong performance in the second quarter to help the Pistons cut into the Spurs lead.

SAN ANTONIO (AP) — Derrick White had 26 points, Jakob Poeltl added 17 points and 11 rebounds and the San Antonio Spurs beat the Detroit Pistons 106-91 on Thursday night to snap a five-game home losing streak. The Pistons and Spurs were both short-handed Friday with less than a month remaining in the regular season. San Antonio was without DeMar DeRozan, Dejounte Murray and Patty Mills, who were all late scratches to its lineup. Murray and Mills sat out for rest on the second night of a back-to-back and DeRozan missed the game with a bruised right quadricep. San Antonio then went on a 16-2 run over the next five minutes to take a lead they never relinquished.
