Jalen Hurts files trademark application for his Super Bowl quote
Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts has filed a trademark application with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office for the phrase “I had a purpose before anyone had an opinion.”The application was filed on Feb. 14. According to the application, Hurts plans to use the words on clothing. The trademark phrase is based on something that the former Alabama standout said during one of his press conferences in the week before Super Bowl LVII. And why do I just keep getting up and going and going and going? In Super Bowl LVII, Hurts became the only player in NFL history to have at least 300 passing yards, one touchdown pass, 70 rushing yards and three rushing touchdowns in the same game.
