Shane Greene blasted again in Tigers loss to White Sox
CHICAGO – Shane Greene got blasted by the White Sox Tuesday, his third awful start in a row, sending the Tigers to a 5-2 loss. Greene has now allowed 20 earned runs in his last three starts, in which he lasted a total of just 11 innings. As bad as the White Sox have been, Shane Greene came into the game pitching even worse. An RBI groundout and a Conor Gillaspie triple gave the White Sox a 5-2 lead and ended Greene's night. With the loss, the Tigers fell into 2nd place in the AL Central, as the Royals beat the Indians at home.
