The Midwest rapper from St. Louis is the latest addition to the 2022 National Cherry Festival lineup. Nelly will perform at the Pepsi Bayside Music Stage beginning at 6 p.m. on July 5. Nelly embarked on his music career with Midwest hip hop group St. Lunatics, in 1993 and signed to Universal Records in 1999. Nelly has continued to release music since, and though his popularity isn’t where it was at his height, he remains a recognizable name for hip hop fans with fond memories of his heyday.

The actor, 30, best known as the titular wizard of the "Harry Potter" films, is voicing secret agent Rex Dasher in the upcoming animated action film "Playmobil: The Movie." The movie is based on the popular toy franchise Playmobil, similar to the wildly successful 2014 "LEGO Movie." In "Playmobil," Dasher partners with a food truck driver, voiced by Jim Gaffigan, and a savvy civilian, voiced by Anya Taylor-Joy, to rescue citizens who have vanished, distributor STX Entertainment says. "Saturday Night Live's" Kenan Thompson and musicians Adam Lambert and Meghan Trainor are also featured in the cast.
