NHL takes big stride on data and analytics with AWS deal

The league has reached an agreement with Amazon Web Services to put all its video and data on the cloud. AdNHL Commissioner Gary Bettman and Amazon Web Services CEO Andy Jassy unveiled the deal on NBC Sports Network late Wednesday. Gunman who shot 2 officers arrested after 12-hour standoff
Police work near the scene of a shooting Saturday, Aug. 29, 2020, in St. Louis. The St. Louis Police Department says two of their officers have been shot and a suspect is believed to be barricaded in a house nearby. The officer who was shot in the head is a 29-year-old man with 3 1/2 years of experience with the department. Officers were searching for another reported shooting victim when the gunman shot one of them in the head and the other in the leg, Hayden said. I saw then he had a gun, Steve Haag told the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.
