Great Lakes Loons celebrate role in Los Angeles Dodgers World Series title

The Great Lakes Loons interim general manager saw the Dodgers' top players in Loons uniforms when they were as young as 16 years old, celebrating the 2020 World Series title just as some of them celebrated the 2016 Midwest League title. Buehler, however, was a force for the Loons in the playoffs, helping Great Lakes win the Midwest League title. He pitched in three games for Great Lakes in 2017, earning a save before a promotion. The team still expects he'll be able to pitch later in the series, but it will be Urías in Game 3 against Braves rookie Kyle Wright.
