Man dies, woman injured in St. Clair County ATV crash
GREENWOOD TOWNSHIP, MI -- A 58-year-old Kenockee Township man was killed in an ATV crash Saturday in rural St. Clair CountyDeputies from the St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched shortly before 3 p.m. Saturday, April 24, to Metcalf Road and Duce Road on St. Clair County’s Greenwood Township, located about 30 miles east of Imlay City. Deputies discovered that Walter Cowhy had been driving his Polaris side by side ATV westbound on Metcalf Road when the ATV ran off the road to the right, according to a St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office news release. Both Walter Cowhy and his passenger, 52-year-old Kimberly Cowhy, were ejected from the ATV. Walter Cowhy died from his injuries. Brockway Township Fire and Rescue also assisted deputies at the scene of the crash.mlive.com
