Learn about Saginaw Bay walleye fishing from a pro fisherman during upcoming event
BAY CITY, MI - A professional walleye fishermen is coming to the Saginaw Bay to share his skills. A special Saginaw Bay walleye clinic will be held on Tuesday, May 3 and Wednesday, May 4 at the Bay City State Park visitor center. The class will take the novice angler through rod and reel selection, rigging and presentation techniques, and natural history tips about Saginaw Bay walleye, according to the DNR. Participants have an opportunity to experience hands-on, one-on-one time with Martin’s pro-staff on charter boats and fish Saginaw Bay and River. A state recreation passport is required for entry into Saginaw Bay Visitor Center, Bay City State Park and the Saginaw River Boat Launch for the event.
