Orchard Lake St. Mary’s head baseball coach and director of admissions, Matt Petry, has been fired for violating the school’s employee conduct policy.

Whenever any high school baseball rankings come out, it’s hard to ever see a team in those rankings not from states such as Florida, Texas, California, Arizona, Mississippi or Georgia. But for most of the year, St. Mary’s was ranked No. 1 in the country by MaxPreps.
