Authorities are once again reminding drivers of Michigan’s Move Over Law after another driver hit an emergency vehicle on a major freeway this year.

A Michigan State Police trooper was conducting a traffic stop on I-94 when another driver crashed into the back of the police vehicle.

No major injuries were reported as all four people were wearing seatbelts at the time.

The trooper was on the scene policing a crash that happened earlier when they were hit.

While first responders were treating a driver's injuries, a firetruck blocking a lane for safety was struck by another driver.

Authorities said the firetruck was blocking a lane for safety reasons when it was hit.

The driver lost control and hit a patrol car, which pushed it more than 100 yards into another patrol vehicle.

Michigan State Police, along with a few local police departments, conducted an enforcement zone with a focus on the state’s “Move Over Law” this week on multiple freeways in Metro Detroit.
