Michigan basketball was forced to cancel two games due to COVID this week, but several former Wolverines earned new opportunities due to virus protocols.

– Regular season Big Ten champion Michigan defeated Wofford 57-40 Thursday. Nik Stauskas had 15 points to lead the Wolverines past the Terriers in the second round of the NCAA tournament in Milwaukee. Jordan Morgan added 10 points and 10 rebounds for the Wolverines, who outrebounded Wofford 31-26. Derrick Walton Jr. and Stauskas added late 3-pointers as the Wolverines - who hit 7-of-17 3s - closed out the win. GAME NOTEBOOK: Wofford missed 12-of-14 shots during a Michigan 20-4 run early in the game and shot 32.1 percent in the first half.
