On Thursday, a large group of community members and city leaders gathered on an empty lot along Orchard Street in the Old Redford area.

The City of Detroit announced Thursday that they would be putting millions of dollars behind a plan to create more affordable housing.

DEARBORN, Mich. A gas main break in Dearborn forced people in more than 15 homes to evacuate for around two hours on Monday evening. It happened in the area Orchard Street and Michigan Avenue.
