Michigan’s ‘maize out’ delivers as Washington struggles in ‘hostile environment’
ANN ARBOR -- Washington hadn’t played a road game in two years. Michigan fans made their presence known from start to finish in a 31-10 win over Washington. Six hundred and fifty eight days had passed since the program’s last true road game (Nov. 23, 2019). Washington head coach Jimmy Lake called it a “hostile environment.”“The crowd was going and it’s everything that we worked on and that’s what’s unfortunate,” Lake said.
