Two people were shot and injured during a shooting at the Spring Hill Apartment Complex in Shelby Township that happened at 6:50 p.m. on Saturday.

A man on a personal mobility scooter was killed Thursday while improperly crossing a road in Troy, police said. The man was crossing John R Road near Isabell Drive around 7:30 p.m. Thursday, according to authorities. He was struck by a 2005 Ford Taurus, officials said. He was not within a crosswalk while crossing the road, according to police. Drugs and alcohol are not believed to have been a factor in the crash, according to authorities.
