Detroit City Football Club’s new stadium in Southwest Detroit will be named AlumniFi Field, and it is set to open for the 2027 USL Championship season.

In just a decade, they’ve gone from small-time start-up to the toast of the town. And after Tuesday (April 19) night’s win over an MLS team, it’s safe to say the Detroit City Football Club has really arrived.

Detroit City FC will be joining the USL Championship for the 2022 season.
