I-696 closure postponed on Saturday in Oakland County

If you use I-696, you’ll want to know about a planned closure this weekend.
MDOT says eastbound I-696 will be closed from M-10 to Lahser in Southfield on Saturday, May 4th from 7 a.m.-7 p.m.
This work is weather dependent and if needed, will be moved to Sunday, May 5.
Traffic will be detoured to SB M-10 to EB I-696, just east of US-24/Telegraph Road.
