CANTON TOWNSHIP, Mich. – Northbound I-275 has reopened at Michigan Avenue after a deadly crash Tuesday morning caused by a vehicle traveling the wrong way on the interstate.
The crash happened near Palmer Road in Canton Township. Michigan State Police said the driver and a passenger of the vehicle which was traveling in the right direction were killed.

A vehicle traveling southbound in the northbound lanes struck a vehicle traveling northbound, killing the driver of that vehicle.
The driver of the other vehicle is a 59-year-old man from Wolverine Lake, Mich. He was transported to a hospital. His condition is not known.
