Detroit Symphony Orchestra, Detroit Harmony team up to ensure every child can learn an instrument

The "Go 4 It: Play it Forward" event, held on October 15, 2025, from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Detroit Harmony, aims to provide every child in Detroit with access to a high-quality musical instrument and lessons. In partnership with the Detroit Symphony Orchestra and Detroit Harmony, the event encourages donations of new or gently used wind, brass, and string instruments. While piano donations are not accepted, monetary contributions to the DSO for lesson funding are welcomed.
