Here's why Lyme disease cases are rising in Washtenaw County

Ticks are now common in Michigan, and Lyme disease, the illness carried by ticks, is also becoming more common, even here in southeast Michigan. Common enough that a Metro Detroit health department and medical center are urging everyone to be more aware of the risk.
