River Rouge Schools partner with American Heart Association to bring CPR training to students
High school students in Michigan are required to learn hands-only CPR before graduating, but there's a catch. That requirement is waived if the school can't provide the necessary equipment. That means many students are not getting the opportunity to learn this lifesaving skill. Local 4 Dr. Frank McGorge is here with a push to help change that. The superintendent of the River Rouge School District understands how important it is to know CPR. He reached out to the American Heart Association in hopes of getting the tools his district needed. We were there as those critical items were delivered to the students.
