CDC expands polio wastewater testing into Oakland County

Michigan's Oakland County will be one of the latest locations in the U.S. determined by the CDC to test wastewater for the polio virus, an ongoing effort in other states. There aren't any known active polio cases in Michigan today, but the county has been chosen due to low vaccination rates and existing testing capacity.
