Multiple windows damaged in early morning shooting at Detroit courthouse
Early Friday, at least seven windows of the Coleman A. Young Municipal Center in Detroit were damaged in a shooting. A gray sedan fired at the building before speeding away on the Lodge Freeway, targeting six windows on the south side and one on the north side. Authorities suspect a pellet or BB gun was used, as no gunfire was heard on surveillance, and no 911 calls were reported. First Assistant Police Chief Charles Fitzgerald criticized the act's recklessness and vowed accountability for the perpetrators.
