Man charged with murder in fatal Detroit gas station shooting

A 30-year-old man, Jaylen Lee Robinson, from Hazel Park, has been charged with murder following a fatal shooting at a Marathon gas station on Puritan Avenue in Detroit. The incident, which occurred early on July 28, resulted in the deaths of Maria Jenkins, 34, and Martin Clay, 32, while two other women were injured. Robinson is accused of shooting Clay and Jenkins multiple times after an argument. He faces multiple charges, including two counts of first-degree murder, assault with intent to murder, and firearm-related offenses, with a potential life sentence if convicted.
