Full hearing: Suspect in Na'Ziyah Harris murder case appears in court

Jarvis Butts, who was charged with sexually assaulting and murdering 13-year-old Na’Ziyah Harris, and has also been charged in other sexual assault cases, appeared in court on Monday, Aug. 4, 2025. During this hearing, the judge heard about discovery issues related to cellphone data files in Butts' homicide case, along with arguments regarding motions to quash filed by the defense over first-degree criminal sexual conduct charges in the unrelated sexual assault cases.
