Detroit woman pleads guilty to shooting at tow truck driver repossessing her car

Shaquanda Danielle Tankersley, a Detroit woman, has pleaded guilty to felonious assault after firing a handgun at a tow truck driver who was repossessing her car. The incident occurred on June 12, when police on patrol witnessed the shooting and returned fire, resulting in Tankersley being shot, treated, and subsequently charged with attempted murder. Her charges of assault with intent to murder and felony firearm were dismissed, and she is scheduled for sentencing on October 24.
