InsideOut Literary Arts celebrates 30 years inspiring Detroit youth through poetry

InsideOut Literary Arts, a Detroit-based organization dedicated to helping young people express themselves through poetry and creativity, is celebrating its 30th birthday. Executive Director Suma Rosen and a former student share how the program has impacted more than 80,000 people. The milestone celebration takes place Saturday, Oct. 25, at The Norwood on Woodward Avenue, featuring special guest Tony and Pulitzer Prize winner Michael R. Jackson.
