Hearing: Man accused of murdering well-known Detroit doctor back in court

The man accused of murdering Devon Hoover, a well-known Detroit doctor was back in court on Friday. Desmond Burks appeared before Third Circuit Court Judge Paul John Cusick on Oct. 24 for a final conference hearing. During the hearing, the judge said he will hear arguments regarding a motion to quash on Nov. 13. He also discussed the plea cut-off date and when jury selection will begin if the case heads to trial.
