Detroit resident finds baby on porch on night of Thanksgiving

A Detroit resident discovered a baby on their porch on Thanksgiving night, November 27, 2025, on Cruse Street on the city's west side. The baby, taken to a nearby hospital by Child Protective Services, is stable as the Detroit police continue their investigation.
