Considine Life Center marks 62 years in Detroit

The Considine Life Center is celebrating a milestone this weekend -- 62 years since the city took over operations in the 1960s. Originally founded as a Jewish community center in the 1930s, the center was renamed after a former superintendent of parks and recreation. Since 2005, a nonprofit has managed the center, continuing its long legacy of serving the community.
